There are also paques who live in the Netherlands. I married one! I know that they came from France. They were Hugenoten and they had to run to other countries because of the French revolution.

My husbands name is René Maria Pâques. His father name was Theodores Maria Pâques and died in 1962. I don't now the name of his father because the family is fallen appart. We have a daughter Nina Mariska Paques she was born on 10 october 1996.

In Balk, Friesland the Netherlands is a company Paques and keeps bussy with wastewater and enviromment. I also found a champagne with the name Paques, www.champagnepaques.com).

I hope you can need this information and excuse me for my grammar.

greetings,
Joys Pâques

Octave C. Paques is my GG uncle. He was the son of John (Jean) Baptiste Paques and his wife Jenny (Jennie, perhaps short for Eugenie). Jean Baptiste had three sons, Octave C., Jules (my great grandfather), and Edmond. They emmigrated from Jumet, Belgium where father and sons apparently were glassblowers and glassmakers. Please contact me via email for more information.

My question is concerning a Bertha Paques who immigrated on the same ship with Jules and Octave - perhaps she was a sister? None of my relatives seem to remember her.

I am one of the Paques decendents also. Beth is my cousin. My father John Walter Paques died in 2009. His cousin Arthur Paques also died the following year. Beth Ann's mother Felicie Paques and David Paques are the only children remaining of John Joseph Paques my GF and Lena Mae Boyle.

Hello! I am also a descendant of the Paques family. I live in Sittard the Netherlands. I am not sure if we have a family connection because as far as I have info about my family , it shows we come from Ans Liege Belgium, geat-great.... GF is Arnold Paques born in 1776. Your Jumet is in the more southern part of Belgium near Charleroi.
Thanks to Napoleon we have municipal records from approx. 1810 onwards, which in more and more cases are available in a digital form. Before that period your best chance to find more is to look into the church records which are mostly NOT digitalised....

best of look with your search!
