Julio/guilo: My father was born in Abruzzi and moved to the Pittsburgh PA area. My uncle Tony Paoletti lived in Philidelpha PA. Did you know him since you live in that city? I traveled to Italy this past summer and retrieved a lot of family data. I don't know if we are related. Does this data help?

Dear Richard: Yes, my Paolettis came from Philadelphia too. My great uncles owned a boarding house there in the early 1900s and when they needed help running it, my grandmother was shipped from Ascoli Piccena to Philadelphia at 17 years old to work there and that's where she met her Paoletti husband. His name was either Gustandino or Constantino Paoletti. He came from Monte Fiascone, Italy.

Mary Nahas;
I'm sorry that I took so long to respond to your note. Yes I had an Uncle Tony (my fathers brother) who lived in Philidelpha and came from Pietracamela Abruzzo. My father lived in the Pittsburgh area until he died. However, I supposidely have only 1 real uncle and three step uncles (grandfathers 2nd wife). I don't think that there were more than 2 Paoletti sons from my grandfather and his 1st wife, but one never knows. Are you related to one of my step uncles? Please contact me on my website rpao@msn.com so that we can converse further on the subject.

Thank you for your time and response

Richard Paoletti

I know that the posts that I have been reading today are old, but I just started my search for family members. I am hoping that I will receive a reply with any info at all. All I am really sure of is that my great gandparents, with the surname of Paoletti resided in Overbrook, a section of Philadelphia. My grandmother Frances Paoletti, married a Frank Ingro. I would love to have any info at all.
Thanks........Rose
