I'm looking for my husband's great grandmother, and her family. Dora married a George Washington Leat in 1883. I believe this was in Iowa, because George was born here. They lived in Iowa for a time, til 1896 when they moved to Miller, SD. In 1911 they homesteaded in Tripp Co., north of Winner, SD. They then moved into Winner in 1926 when George retired. They couple had 8 children.
I have learned that she may be a decendant of William the Naylor. Also learned that she was born close to but not in Erie Co., PA. Still trying to make a connection with the William "Naylor" Palmer.
