My mother-in-law is a Pajer. Her grandfather John Pajer was from Slovakia. I don't know which part. He married Mary Laychak and migrated to Southwestern PA in ther early 1900s.

Laychak is Americanized version of LAJC^AK (Slovak), LAJCSAK - Hungarian.
