I am looking for my paternal ancestors from Finland and the United States. My fathers name was Rudolph Hinrik Paasonen. His father changed their last name spelling when they came to USA in the late 30's or 40's. The spelling of the name was Paason or Paasen

According to the information I have received
my grandmother , whose name was Martta Johanna Paasonen emigrated from Helsinki ,Finland to the U.S in 1927.In the U.S she got married ,but I have no knowledge of any children from that marriage. Martta Johanna ??? , ne Paasonen is said to have
died in the U.S in 1950´s.She was born
1900. Her father´s name was Henrik Johan
Paasonen born in 1844. Henrik Johan Paasonen
was married twice and 6 descendants from the first marriage and 4 descendants from the second marriage.
The eldest son of Henrik Johan Paasonen born in 1870 was also named Henrik Johan and his
eldest son born in 1900 was named Lauri
Henrik . The spelling Henrik --Hinrik
is pretty close to each other and the
original Henrik would be pronounced in English as Hi:nrick.Certain names typically
ran in the families from generation to another in the manner like Henrik Johan -
Lauri Henrik. It might help if you gave your
grandfather´s Christian names and if you
had any sort of idea from what part of Finland he originally came from and when he
was born.
