Memorial services for Ruth Anne Boschee, 73, of Killeen will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.
Her body was donated to Medical Science.
Mrs. Boschee died Thursday, Sept. 4.
She was born Aug. 16, 1935, to Leone and Carl Paasch in North Dakota. She married Harold Boschee and was a Killeen resident since 1972. She was a Registered Nurse, having graduated from Mercy School of Nursing Valley City and Devils Lake, N.D., working 33 years in several states and Germany. She was also a Powder Puff Pilot and earned an associate degree from Central Texas College. She served as Worthy Matron of Vashti Chapter #32 Order of the Eastern Star in Temple from 1981-1982 and enjoyed many state appointments during her lifetime, most auspicious, perhaps, her two years commission as Grand Representative to North Dakota in Texas. She held dual membership with the Killeen Chapter #490. She was a Charter and Honorary Member of the Killeen Kickers Square Dance Club and held membership in the Retired Officer’s Wives, Wednesday Review and Christian Women’s Clubs and with the Girls Scouts of America.
Survivors include her husband of Killeen; three daughters, Camette Boschee of Killeen, Kymberly Boschee of Round Rock and Heidi Boschee of Kerrville; her brother, Karl Paasch of Wimbledon, N.D.; and four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Viva Les Arts Society of Killeen, 3401 South W.S. Young Drive Killeen, Texas 76542.
