Surnames: Paar, Parr
I have very little data to go on, but here is what I have:
Ronald Charles Paar (1955) married to Rita Witucki
son of Marcus Robert Paar (1917-1994, also known as Marcus Ernest Paar) married Elizabeth Albano
son of Marcus William (Max) Paar (1871-1938) married (2nd wife) Mary O'Leary/Eleary
son of Peter Parr (??) married to Rosalia Gottsokalk (1897-1923)
I was told to look in Borusia/Borussia/Prussia in the cities of Gierdorf/Gelosoh, but this information is sketchy at best.

Please send any info you may have.
Thanks.

I know your post was made many years ago, but I hope you still keep up with it. My ancestor Andreas (Andrew) Paar b.1813 came from Hesse Cassel, Germany, could it be the same place and family? He was my gggrandfather. We still have his Wander Book and the family Bible they brought with them when they came here from Germany. He was married to Elizabeth Loskamp b. 1813 who came from Arnsberg, Westphalia, Germany. My Paar line stops there, I have found nothing past him. If it is in his papers it may be hard to retrieve, I have had several relatives try to translate them, but the dialect is very old. Any information you have would be appreciated and I will also send back what I have had translated successfully.

Surnames: Loskamp
Do you know anything about the Loskamp family? My ggrandmother's maiden name was Loskamp. She was born in Pennsylvania 6 Dec 1872. Her parents are from Germany. That is all I know about her.
