Hi, I have a family tree with the ancestor you're researching. She is my husband's great aunt. I would like to send you a copy of our family tree. It would be easier to send through mail. Contact me at my e-mail address.
This is great news!
Please contact me soon.

Hi, I am seeking my family history.Gustave Paape came over from Germany in 1872 on the Cimbria. I am seeking any info. His mother was Wilhelmine Paape b. 7-12-1846. she had 7 children. Her parents were August Ann maria (Tews) Paape, they came with their 5 youngest children. Any help would be appreciated. Many settled in WI, MN and possibly MI

possible relative?

Three Paapes came to Michigan about the same time: Wilhemine, b. 1854, Herman, b. 1851, and William b. 1862. Could they be siblings of Guztave Paape? Herman is a direct ancestor of my husband. He is as far back as we have gotten. We know for sure he was born in Germany and the other two are his siblings. I'm looking forward to hearing a reply. Hope I can help with this info.

I just don't know. They might be somehow related but the dates of birth don't fit, they are more the generation of Gustave's mother, but I have a list of her siblings and dates and they don't match. but considering how few Paape's there are they most likely are related. I am just not sure how. Gustave's mother was one of 8 children. So there are many possibilities. Tell me more about the people whom you can trace with Herman.

I have no info. about Herman Paape's parents or siblings. I do know he was born in Germany and died 12 Sept. 1927. He had 4 children. This is as far back as we've been able to go. No one seems to remember or have and papers.

I have found a sister of Herman's named Wilhelmine who was born in 1854. We are unsure about a possible brother or cousin born 1862 named William.
It has been suggested that some family members were stoaways on a ship to get over here. No proof though.
We found a cemetery stone for a William and Magdaline Paape. William was born 1862 and died 1938. They are known as cousins.
I'm looking for any information on these people.
