I am not the John Oxborough already listed, I'm John Oxborough from Bedford, Bedfordshire (my parents have moved to Gateshead, and other relatives are in Bideford - N. Devon and Milton Keynes). I have recently become interested in my family history, and have recently bought the domain name www.theoxboroughs.co.uk and originally it was going to be for my family only, but I thought it would be a great idea to create an Oxborough community. If interested, then email me, john@theoxboroughs.co.uk and we can arrange for you to have a family section, or I can set up a free email address for you - xxx@theoxboroughs.co.uk

Hi Dorothy
I did email you last week. I'll try again.
You probably know, George was in India for a while and married twice [Louisa Campbell and Jessie Edwards] and had loads of children. My grandmother was close to one of them John Campbell Oxborough - they were step cousins - and was sent a letter by a friend when he was killed in the war in 1916.
I do have a few photos
