possibly Florida. Lived in Anson Co. NC 1800-1850. Married Clarissa Dilliard 1822 Cumberland Co. NC. Daughter, Susie married Sampson Lee, also of Anson County, North Carolina. Joseph and Clarissa Oswell moved to Gadsden Co. Fla before 1850. Joseph Oswell may have died circa, 1860. W.G. Oswell and a younger male Oswell living with Joseph and Clarissa in 1850 Gadsden Co., Fla census. Living next door is son-in-law and daughter Susie Oswell LEE son-in-law Sampson Lee and grandchildren, Joseph T. LEE, Robert LEE and William Levi LEE.
