Thank you so much for this info! The swing story wouldn't ring a bell for me, but perhaps my father? The connection is through his line and they came from Grajewo, Poland. Kazimierz Ostaszewska married Marianna Matanowska and they produced my great grandmother, Anna in 1892. Anna went on to marry Edward Seborowski in Jersey City NJ in 1915.
