O'Shea, Esther M.


HAVERHILL — Esther M. (Leary) O'Shea, of Bradford, died at her winter residence in Briny Breezes, Fla., on Saturday, March 29, 2008. She was born on May 26, 1910, in Arlington, daughter of the late John M. and Catherine (McMullen) Leary. Prior to her marriage, she was employed in the local shoe industry. She was a lifelong member of Sacred Hearts Church and a charter member of the Bradford Swim Club. An avid reader, she also enjoyed gardening, biking and spending time with her family in the lakes region of New Hampshire. Esther was married to the late T. Joseph O'Shea for 49 years. She is survived by her children, son John J. O'Shea and his wife Cathy of Lake Worth, Fla., daughters, Maureen E. Donovan of Bradford and Patricia A. Cavallaro and her husband William of Wolfeboro, N.H., grandchildren, Kenneth J., Paul A. and James W. Cavallaro, Lynne E. Donovan, Erin E. Roberts, Kathleen M. Pruett, Michael B. Donovan, Elizabeth A. Ryan and Kevin P. O'Shea, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial funeral Mass, Saturday, April 12, at 9 a.m. in Sacred Heart's Church, Bradford. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery, Haverhill. Calling hours at the H.L. Farmer &Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So.
