There is a Darius Orton buried in a cemetery in Harborcreek Township, PA. (It's outside the city of Erie, PA). Darius (1760-1835) was born in Morris, Litchfield, CT and baptized there on 31 Jan 1760.
He lived in Otsego, NY for awhile. He fought in the Revolutionary War and in his old age moved to his son's in Harborcreek, PA. He fought in a NY Regiment, but is considered A PA Son of the Revolution in a listing in the Erie County Court House, Erie, PA. Darius was a son of Hezekiah and Ann Sedgwick. His brother, Sedgwick, had a son named Edmond who walked from CT to PA along Lake Erie and chose farmland on which to settle. Edmond is my GG Grandfather. Judy
