Dawn, my name is milton krug, Mary Orth married my gggranfather george krug.I don't have a date when though. She was born in 1793. He, 1788. My orths came from Pa. I have been trying to find out who her father and mother was. but haven't had much luck though. keep in touch with me maybe some day we'll figure this all out.

Recently i recieved a type of Family tree book from my cousin. In this book it lists the entire family history of a John Orth He was born Nov 25th 1852 In Florence Italy. He married a Lillian Thompson Lillan was born Aug 18, 1889 or 1869. Records were not accurate. The name Orth is German. John Orth's history goes back to 1020AD and is deep in European history. I am trying to find any information about him and his family in order to co-oberate information to have it athenticated. There is a man by the name of Michael Orth that has the family documents in Austria for this part of the family. If you have any information please contact me.

I believe I just replies to a message posted by you cousin. I am a descendant of Johann Orth and my family has shared the same stories as she posted and I am overwhelmed to find these messages! Johann and Lilian had children here in the U.S., the first being Lilian Orth, April 15, 1896 or 1898. I forgot to mention to your cousin that I have a family photograph containing Johann, his wife Lilian, daughter Lilian about age 12 and other children. Perhaps that could help with the authentication. Thank you!

Johan Salvaator Orth is my great grandfather. I'm cousin to Lori's mom. He was the arch duke of Austria. I met the head of the Austrian mint several years ago and he sent me a biography on Johan (it is in
German and I haven't had it translated) Does have some great pictures. I met an unnamed relative of the royal family and all he could say was something like, "You know he renounced all claims to property."
