To all,

Hope to find these two O'quinns. They may have connections to Herndons. Colleton Area in the late 1800 to early 1900s.

Rich

Hi Rich, do you have any other information on the two O'Quinn's you are searching? My mothers family are O'Quinn from Colleton Co. I am searching for a General Morgan who is some how related to the O'Quinn's. I am tracing this line so I can join the DAR . I live in Colleton County. Any help would be appreciated. I will look through my note and see what I have on Issac F or a J. Z. Thanks Louise

Rich,
My grandmother's father was Isaiah (Isaac) Fox O'Quinn & her mother was Shellie Herndon (b 1876, d ?). I can't seem to figure out who Shellie's mother truly is. I found where her mother, Hettie Herndon, & brother, Frank Herndon, lived with them in 1900 Census. Hettie was widowed by then. I can't find where she died or was buried, but I doubt they left Colleton Co. If you know anything more, please email me @ timothy.swinson@comcast.net. Thanks! Lisa Martin Swinson

Issac Fox O'quinn was the son of James Henry O'quinn. This James Henry was the son of Edward O'quinn and Celia Getsinger.
James Henry was my great grandfather's brother.
