I am interested to know if anyone has new information on the O'Quinn/O'Quin families from Colleton County. I am particularly interested to find out if anyone has been able to identify the father of Tarler/Tyler, Hardy, Edward and Joseph. Also, for those interested in the possibilities of digging a little deeper - Y33 DNA results are available on a direct descendant of Joseph O'Quin.

Hi There!

I am really glad to hear from you. I am directly descended from Joseph O'Quin, Edward's brother. I wish like crazy I could tell you I had a hot lead, but those boys are still a mystery.

I also sent you a reply to the message you sent to my email address. I look forward to comparing notes with you! Who knows we might even find something...

Lynda, I don't see any connection at this point. However, I will be sure to let you know if I run into this line in the future. ~ Julie
