Gina, Where do you live in MA? I live in Rowley, MA, north of Boston. My grandfather, Bruno Iannizzi, settled in the North End in 1907 from Grotteria, Reggio Calabria. I have seen the OPPEDISANO name quite frequently when using the LDS films to research. Several actuall married Iannizzi individuals. I have compiled a database of all the IANNIZZI individuals in Grotteria and Mammola by using the filds from 1809-1910 through the LDS library. Would love to correspond with another Grotteria descendant. I am president of The Italian Genealogical Society of A,merica, based in Peabody, MA. We are an active group and meet 4 times per year.
