Surnames: O'Mahony, Harris, Downey
Hi I am looking for any information about my grandad's family, My grandad's name was Patrick O'Mahony, he came from a largish family.
My great grandad I think was called Michael he was apparently a soldier and was wounded in a war and recieved a pension and my greatgrandmother was called Ellen, all I know of her is that she died young, and I think her maiden name may have been either Harris or Downey
My grandad had a few brothers, one was called daniel, and another was the harbour master in Cork,I know that a brother went to America, but not sure of the name of that brother, there was also a youngest sister called Margret, or Maggie.
My grandad came to England in the late 30's working for Fords, and maggie joined him.
any help in finding out anything about my grandad and his family would be great and to find any relatives would be a bonus. the last address that I know where they apparently lived was Boyces Street, but that may be wrong
