Hi
I married Bryce John Olver in 1994. His father is also Bryce John. The Olver name is not very common inAustralia and i am curious for my daughter's sake. Her father is deceased.

Hello Suzanne

I can't help you much but I may have a starting point for you. My grandfather, Lindsay Roy Olver, was born in Yackandandah in 1903. When I had a bit of a look a few years ago there were a number of Olvers in NE Victoria.

Good luck

I am also from the Hodge side of the Olvers. My grandmother (fathers side) was Edna May Hodge 27/05/1904-03/01/1952. Edna was the second child of Harry and Margaret Hodge and married Kenneth Cecil Olver on June 21 1930.

I'm really slack and have just noticed that the second listing on the popular search engine for 'Olver, Yackandandah' shows my original post. Just going through war records (Changi) to copy for a grandson and thought I'd check. Olvers from Yack must be related but I know nothing about that side of the family.
