Crown Point — Amanda J. Bemis Olcott, 36, of Maple Street in Crown Point, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at her residence.
She was born April 30, 1965, in Ticonderoga, N.Y., the daughter of Alfred "Sam" and Glendine (Rice) Bemis.
Amanda is a most loved mother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and friend.
Amanda is survived by her parents, Sam and Glendine Bemis of Crown Point; her daughters, Samantha and Paige Dolback; her sister, Jennifer Siver and her husband, Ron; her twin brother, Dean Bemis and his wife, Judy; her grandmother, Geneva Bemis; her grandfather, E. Victor Rice; four nieces; one nephew; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at 1 p.m. at the Crown Point Methodist Church in Crown Point, N.Y. Burial will be in White Church Cemetery in Crown Point in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crisis Center, PO Box 566, Elizabethtown, NY 12932 or to the estate of Amanda Bemis Olcott c/o Sam Bemis, 159 Hamilton Rd., Crown Point, NY 12928 for the benefit of her children.
Arrangements are with the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry.
