Anyone have a connection to a Frank Olah who lived in Washington County, Pennsylvania in 1920? He married a Julianna (or Julie) who was previously married to Istvan Hegedus. Her maiden name was Stuller. Julianna was from Szendro, Borsod, Hungary, and perhaps so was Frank? Julianna had several children from her marriage to Istvan, Lazlo Hegedus being my husbands grandfather. Julianna immigrated to the US in 1898.

I don't know if they are related or not but my grandfather had a brother whose name was Frank. Do you know anything else about Frank?

Well, I have a Frank, an Andy (known as Bundy), a John and the eldest brother is Mike. All Olah, common name but the father was Mike Olah as well as a brother, mother was a Boszi Kish. Lived in western Pa, Duquesne, McKeesport, Homestead and Clairton. Any connections there for you?

I'm assuming you're talking about my grandfather. Frank A. Olah married Julia Olah and live in Cannonsburg, Pa, which is outside of Pittsburgh. They had 2 sons and a daughter and moved to Baltimore around 1940. Let me know if this is what you're looking for.

This must be connected to my family. Margaret is my great grandmother, Frank is my grandpa and he had a brother named Pete. All I know is that they all lived in Canonsburg, PA. I'm really trying to find out more about Frank and Pete's father who left Margaret when they were little. Any information about the Hegedus, Olah and Filius families would be greatly appreciated.

My great grandmother Esther Olah Toth had a twin brother Frank. Esther lived in Washington County, PA before moving to Detroit. According to her marriage record, she was born in Gonez, Abanj Co, Hungary (spelling may be incorrect). She came to PA from Hungary as a child to be a servant. I found her working for a family named Harbison in PA. If my mom has a copy of her death certificate with her birthdate I could confirm that this Frank was her brother. Seeing where Frank was born makes me believe that this is the correct Frank Olah.
I would like to know more about Frank's children. I didn't know that he had any. Does any one have pictures of him? My mom has one of her grandmother and her grandmother's twin, Frank.

The Frank and Julia that we are looking for did not have any children together. Julia was 39 in the census before their marriage. There are no new children in the 1920 and 1930 census records, just those that Julia had with Istvan, her first husband. They did live in Washington County, PA.

Hi Tim, I must have missed your post several years ago. Are you still on Ancestry? I'd be very curious to find out more about what you may know about Frank and Julia Olah. Their move to Baltimore around 1940 is very interesting.
Thank you. I hope to hear from you soon.

I have a Margaret Hegedus in my tree who married a Filius. Her step-father was Frank Olah. Her mother was Julia Stuller Hegedus Olah. I'd be happy to give you a guest pass to my tree as I have a lot on the Filius line. Please let me know. If Frank Olah is the same as mine, I'd be curious what you might know about him and his parents names if you have them.
