My freinds, who are related to this gentleman, have asked me to assist them to find him. (using the Internet) Having served in one the Canadian Squadrons in the UK in WWII he returned to Canada and they lost contact. Any information that helps would be appreciated.
Thanks and kind regards,
Bill Furey

Ther is a book published by Halbert's Family Heritage called the "World Book of Olafsons. In it is names and addresses of almost all the Olafsons in the world. One is a Mr. Carl Olafson, 18-2360 Laurier Cres Prince George, V2M2B2. I don't know if this is who you are looking for but he is in Canada. Also, there is one that is listed just as G. Olafson 4th Ave E, 503, Prince Rupert, V8J1N8. I hope this will help in some way.

Rose, The book was published by Halbert's Family Heritage and my husband had something from them in the mail and he ordered the book. You could go on line to find their address but there isn't one on the book he received. This book lists all the Olafson's and what country they are in and how many. It tells the meaning of the name, their migration and early origins, settlements, and their early coats of arms. I wish I could give you the address to write to but there isn' one in the book. Just the Publisher's name. Hope that will help so. JP Olafson
