Hi Jessica
I am so excited to find your thread on this site.
I am the great grand daughter of Margaret Ogilvie, wife of Francis Falconer, who I saw in your picture of favourite uncle Normans wedding! My grandmother was Margaret Ogilvie Falconer and she spoke very fondly of her uncle Norman. I took her up to Aberdeen in the early eighties and sadly it was too late to see Pullie, she had recently died. Granny told me that she was quite a character and mentioned the car!!
I have quite a bit of history on the family and would be glad to share with you. I do have some photos, however, I am sure my aunt Janet (named after your Janet, I believe) has more.
I can't believe the link. as I am due to move to Lincoln in the summer!!
If you can be specific about the info you would like, I will see what I can dig out.
I went to Kepplestone with Granny when we did our tour, sadly it had been changed into a University and the grounds accomodated the Hall of residence, which saddened Granny greatly. She had fond memories of the place. I have a photo of it somewhere together with a photo which includes some of the people in your wedding photo I think. Also one of Thomas Ogilvie and Francis Falconer (my great grandfather) and the Manse in Aboyne. Granny took me have a look and I remember taking a rather bad photo!!
Look forward to hearing from you, new found relative!!
Kind regards
