I was tying up some loose ends in my family history. Charley Ogan (or Ogans) was the son of William Collins Ogan. He married a woman from South Carolina named Emma Grant, about 1900. They had two children that I know of, a daughter named Ida Ogans Vann, and Charles. They settled down in Muskogee, Oklahoma, until after 1930. I have some indication that he resettled in Tulare, California. Need to confirm.

This is a looooong story. Charley Ogans was one of the sons of William C. Ogan. I am related by marriage. My late wife was Rose Marie Ogans, daughter of Thomas Louis Ogans, son of Fred Guy Ogans, son of William C. Ogan. I am doing this family history as much for myself as for my sons and grandsons. I do a rather methodical search, and don't like loose ends. Since I am personally knowledgeable of the children of Fred Guy Ogans and his brother Edward Ogans, I can share that knowledge, as well as what knowledge I have on William C. Ogan and his father. I have limited knowledge this far on the family dating back to 1807.
