Searching for ancestors of my maternal great
grandfather, William Wesley O'Fallon. William
lived and died in Lonetree, WY., where my
grandfather, Jared Bullock O'Fallon was born.
I have no information on William Wesley's
father or mother. Any info on the O'Fallons
from Lonetree, WY., would be appreciated.
I may be related

My father Ted Andrew O'Fallin told me that someone in our families past changed
our name from O'Fallon to O'Fallin. I don't know why this was done, but my dad said if I wanted to trace my
roots I should use the O'Fallon name to do it. If this can help you ,or if you can help me, please let me know.
I planning a trip to Ireland this summer, and I would be great if I knew there was someone I was related to I could visit
there when I go.

Hi James,
Thanks for your message. I'm unable to tell you
whether or not we're related without more information.
My grandfather's name was Jared Bullock O'Fallon
and he was raised in LoneTree Wyoming. Jared's
dad was William Wesley O'Fallon. That's where
my information stops. Do you have the names of any
of your paternal ancestors and where they were born?
My grandfather's (Jared) great grandmother was the
sister of Brigham Young, so if any of your ancestors
came west with the Mormons, that info might be
helpful.
Thanks, Geri Johnson

My GGGrandfather was Andrew O'fallon. He is listed in the 1850 Lauderdale MS census. He was born in Ireland and died in Arkansas in 1892. Name changed to O'Fallin. Their are a lot of O'fallin's buried in the Lone Sassafrass Cemetary in Arkansas.

Hi Keith, we must be cousins. Nice to meet you. How far back do you have your O'Fallins. Mine are back to Andrew Jackson O'Fallon b 1810 Ireland. Which brother are you from, John Martin. I have a picture of them.
