Hello from Canada!
I have just learnt that my 3rd great grandmother was a Mary Ody who married William Woolford in 1813 in Rodbourne Cheney, then a village just outside of Swindon, Wiltshire. So it seems that we must be distant cousins. I too am trying to find out about the Odys from Wiltshire. I have the 1851 census for Wiltshire and will be looking at that. I know that this census is too late for Mary Ody but I shall try to build up a profile of the Ody clan in Wiltshire if that is possible. My home email is afb@interbaun.com Please contact me there.
