I'm looking for any information on the Ocana family.

This is what I have so far: Presentacion Ocana (NM) was the step-father of Marciano Ocana (NM) and the step-grandfather of Julian Ocana of Monte Vista, CO.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any information or would like to exchange what info. on the Ocana family I may have.

Hello,
I am also working on a Ocana, family tree. I am not sure how this may relate to your search, but I am into about six generations of the Ocana Family and I have pretty much come to a dead end, with Juan Ocana ABT 1847, born in New Mexico. The last source I have is dated 1870. I am unable to find his parents.
Back then New Mexico crossed a few states as we know it today. If you would to know any details I may have please fee free to contact myself.

Are you sure it was 1847 and not 1837? I ask because I have a Juan in 1837. Son is Marcelino who married Dolores Padilla. They had a daughter Teofila who married Julian Lopez. Anyway, good luck.

from the El Rito marriage records.
25 Feb 1878, Jose Presentacion Ocana, son of Guadalupe (m) Ocana, married Antonia Rosa Manzanares. Antonia Rosa was the daughter of Gregorio Manzanares and Manuela Garcia.

On 20 Sep 1883, Presentacion, then a widower, married Maria Ignacia Ortiz, daughter of Santiao Ortiz and Guadalupe Velasquez.
