I am part of Irish family Names, a small company publishing a book called "The O Callaghans of County Cork - A History" by Joseph F O Callaghan of the USA. We are hoping to launch the book in Cork City in September and I am trying to get together a suitable mailing list of people interested in the history of Cork and such like who might want to come to the launch.
Anyone interested, please let me know.
Kind regards,
Turtle Bunbury

Please keep me informed about the availability of this book. My grandfather Maurice Keppel was born in Newmarket Co Cork, came to New Zealand in 1876 and in 1882 married Annie O'Callaghan from Kiskeam who came to New Zealand in 1880 followed by her sister Mary in 1884 who married Patrick O'Reilly.

Looking forward to viewing this book.

Interested in book and possibility I could attend. Question: Does book deal with pre-1650's O'Callaghans? Mine were part of the Cromwell dispersion ultimately ending up in NW Ireland (Roscommon, Mayo, Sligo).

I am interested in the book you have to offer.

My 4th Great Grand Father was Timothy Patrick O'Callaghan who was born in Ireland (unknown where) 12-25-1838. Came to the United States around 1870. He married a woman named ???? Bolton.
There were 10 children born to this marriage.

Thanks,

Eric
