Mary Ann COONEY, b. abt. 1862 somewhere in England to Irish immigrant parents, was married abt. 1880-1882 in England to Thomas O'BRIEN, who was born in Ireland to Irish parents.

At least one child, Mary, was born to them in England abt. 1882.

This family immigrated to the United States in 1885 and ended up in Fall River (Bristol County) Massachusetts. They became naturalized citizens in 1890.

There were at least three other children born to Mary Ann COONEY & Thomas O'BRIEN. They were:

John Patrick O'BRIEN -- born in Fall River MA on Feb. 10, 1887; died in Bridgeport CT on March 11, 1957. First married to Margaret May WARBURTON of Danbury CT (she died in 1921). Then married to a Mary MCGARRIGLE.

Michael Joseph O'BRIEN -- born in Fall River MA abt. 1891; died in Stratford CT on March 21, 1957. Was married to a Frances BEYER.

The younger Mary O'BRIEN married a Mr. BOND and was residing in Fall River MA as late as 1957.

William O'BRIEN -- not sure when or where he was born. Was residing in Fall River also as late as 1957.
