Hi I am trying to find out information for my wife about Lewis Heber Oborne and his ancestors. He was her grandfather. He was born in 1901/02. There is a Lewis Heber Oborne listed as being born in Lewisham (Lewis forename?) in 1902. He married Evelyn Blanche Sims, born 1900, died 1983 (my wife's Grandmother). This came as a surpise to my wife who thought he was born near Bristol. He later lived near Bristol. She also thinks that Lewis's father (name not known but possibly Heber) was a curator at Bristol Art Gallery. Does anyone have any information about either Lewis or his father?
