My paternal grandmother was Sadie May O'Bannon. Her son, A. J. Bollinger was my father. Sadie was married to Pearl Bollinger first, had 4 sons, 3 living, then divorced and married Cleve Dejournett.

Martha did you ever connect with Paul... and if so what info was he able to share with you. By the time I found this site... I'm afraid that Paul might have already passed. Reading his posts here it appears he had a wealth of information about the O'Bannon's... and I regret not being able to pick his brain. I am as are most O'Bannon descendants related through Bryant O'Bannon the first O'Bannon in the colonies. I am a descendant through his son John. Not sure if you are still here, looking forward to hearing back from you.,

Paul: Do you have any more information about the William Obannon who went to North Carolina? Do you have records of who his children were? What are your sources.
Thank you.
