Surnames: O'Banion/O'Bannon
My mother, 1)Florence Catherine O'Banion is descended from Bryant O'Banion of Fauquier, VA. From my mother and her brother, 1)James Hodgins O'Banion (b.5 Feb 1917, Great Falls, MT; d. 11 Dec 1989, Vancouver, WA)s&do 2)Lloyd Mortimer O'Banion (b. 10 May 1886, Dunlap, Iowa; d. 18 Nov 1930, Vancouver, WA) & Olive May Hodgins (b. 25 Nov 1883, Bathgate, Pembina, Dakota Territory; d. 6 Mar 1965, Vancouver, WA). 2)Lloyd was s/o 3)James A. O'Banion (b. 19 Jan 1855/58, Springville, UT; d. Logan, Iowa) & Florence Josephine Butler (b. abt 1859 Guthrie, Iowa; d. 1885 Papillion, Nebraska.)[FYI I believe there maybe a number of O'Banions buried at the cemetery in Papillion.] 4) James Hall O'Banion (b. 5 Oct 1833, Morgan Co., Ill; d. 3 Jan 1899, woodbine, Iowa) & Flora Isabella Clark (b. 15 Mar 1835, Haddam, CT; d. abt 1860, Springville, UT) 5) Evan O'Banion (1799-1874) & Margaret Hall (1801-1842) 6) James O'Banion (1743-1809) & Mary Mason (1746-1839) etc. This is probably much more that you might want, but I didn't see any reference to this O'Banion line. Note that the spelling is O'Banion, but I've seen it written O'Bannon as well from those in VA
