I am researching a Mary O'Neal, born 1762, in Greene, TN. She died in 1841 in Burr Hicks, Owen, IN. She was married to John Carpenter who was born in Amherst, VA, in 1752 and died in Burr Hicks, Owen, IN, in 1843. They were married on 2/10/1787, location unknown. I am trying to find out who Mary’s parents were and where they came from.
