I'm researching several O'NEAL families that migrated from IN to northwest Missouri (Harrison, Mercer and Grundy county, MO) during the 1850's. Will be glad to share information and interested in establishing contact with other O'NEAL researchers researching descendants or ancestor's of:

Willliam O'NEAL (b: appx 1811, NC) m Lucretia CAISEY
migrated to Harrison County, MO during 1850's

Jessee O'NEAL (b: 7-13-1813, VA) m Nancy LYONS
migrated to Mercer County, MO in 1850's, also lived in CA in 1880's

James Blain O'NEAL (b: 1848, Bartholomew CO, IN) m Caroline MILLER 5-15-1854
migrated to Harrison County, MO

Hugh Alonzo O'NEAL (b: 1851, IN) m Delilah COOK
was married in Harrison County, MO 12-31-1873

I have an O'neal connecion in MO that I can's seem to locate. But it doesn't match the ones you list.

I have a Pearl Florence O'neal (siblings Floyd, Etta) born to Parents John C O'Neal and Amanda Mc Daniels. I have both John and Amanda born in Missouri. Any connection ??

Etta O'neal married a Howard Mills

The only other information I have found to date is the attached census records

Sorry, Frank. I don't recognize any of these individuals. You have some O'NEALs that were listed as being born in AK in the 1840's and 1850s. I'm not aware of any Arkansas connections to the family that I am researching.

Frank - Hope you are still online. I think I know who your Floyd O'Neal married and his children's names.

In 1930 they are living in Sebastian County, Arkansas.

Ora married my great uncle, I presume after Floyd died.

You may contact me direct for more information on Ora and the children.

Just a reminder that there are Missouri Death Certificates online which might help:

Google > Missouri Death Certificates.

Hey Steve...I believe we connected a number of years ago, and am now getting back around to family research.

Jesse and Nancy O'Neal, are a connection of mine, as he was the older half brother to my 2x-great grandfather, George Washington O'Neal.
