Nyberg family.. Superior, Wisconsin
Peter Alfred Nyberg came to US before 1920 and settled at Superior, Wisconsin. He died in 1948 aged about 64 years. I know he had an Aunt and Uncle who lived here.
He married Rachel Elfreda Johnson and they had one son Lloyd Melvin Nyberg who now lives in California. Hoping to find out more about Peter Alfred and his family.

Seems to be different Nyberg family. Karl Harry Nyberg's parents were Karl Emil Nyberg and Matilda Anna Carlson. They were all from Stockholm, Sweeden. They came to America sometime after 1895, but before 1919.

Hi my name is Karl John Nyberg. My father is Karl Columbus Nyberg. His father was David Mauritze Nyberg. His Father was Karl Harry Nyberg. And, of course, his father was Karl Emil Nyberg. I recently have just found the pedigree charts of our family which was filled out by my grandmother, Connie Calhoon Flora, who was the wife of David Mauritze Nyberg. In the charts Karl Emil Nyberg, my second great- grandfather. To prove this Karl Emil Nyberg was born in Sweden, and then moved to canada with his wife and the couple died and where both buried in seperate towns in Alberta Canada.

This is awesome to find! Karl Emil Nyberg's mother Anna Svensdotter was a sister to my paternal 2nd great grand father Nils Svensson Pemer. Their father was too low class to be called more than Sven Henrik Davidsson, the patronymic name for his father being called David, but his father and further back of the family was called Pemer, and Nils took the name back for our branch, as did most sons of the youngest brother Carl.
I was in touch in the 1980's with Swedish descendants of Karl Emil Nyberg's sister Hildur Maria Nyberg, married Karlsson, and they had even been aware of the family name Pemer and one family on that branch had contemplated trying to take the name in the 1950's.
We have a genealogical society open for all possible descendants, and are very interested in completing the family tree on all branches. The mest renowned descendant of the Pemer family would be the Nobel laureate Glenn T Seaborg, who even had element nr 106 named after him a few years before he passed away. We have also actually just gotten the very first Swedish Prime Minister with Pemer roots.
I would love to get in touch with you, Karl John Nyberg. Your father and I would seem to be 4th cousins.
