I have just started tracing my Neibel ancestors. I think I have found the family on the 1880 Census and it looks like the name was originally Nubel (corrupted over the years to be Neibel and Neubel). My gg-grandfather was John (possibly Joseph) born around 1846 in Prussia and was married to Louisa. Their son Bernard is my g-grandfather born around 1868/67 in Brooklyn. I have reason to believe that John & Louisa also had children:John, Fredericka, Franciska, Catherine, Antonia and Gottlieb. Any connections?

Is this the John Nubel who taught in Goodhue, MN? If so, please contact me. I have been trying to get ahold of you forever, it seems. If not, I am trying to find a teacher who has your name and taught in Goodhue MN, Math and Speech from 1965-1968 or thereabouts. Thanks if you can help me.
