I am looking for Susan Nowell, married to Robert Adolphus Nowell. I have found much information about both the SHADDOCK and NOWELL families on the internet but nobody knows what happened to Susan, when she died and where. Susan was born about 1837 in Alabama to Benjamin SHADDOCK and Martha REYNOLDS or RILEY. She was married to Robert in Mississippi in 1857. Their first child, William, was born in Arkansas about 1860. All of their children, Martha (1865), James (1868), Jno. (1871), Ora (1871), Lucy (1873), Fannie (1875), and Lura (1879) were born in Arkansas. The family was found in Harrison County, Texas on the 1880 census. Robert and at least a few of his children moved to Henderson County, Texas sometime before 1900. He died in 1920 in Anderson County, Texas. I can't find any mention of Susan after the 1880 census. Anybody out there that can help me? Or at least point me in a direction? Thanks, Bonnie
