"Andy" and possible P??.. From what the Revirce Directory said they lived at 8855 Bay Parkway Apt 8 in Brooklyn,NY.. I know they moved in like 1978-1980, but not sure where in NY??? The story gose Andy came to the USA with his Grandmother and Mother. P Novack moved in on Bay Parkway 1966. Andy moved in with his grandmother in 1974.They already had family hear in NY.. Andy had a Uncle who worked on the Space Shuttle I would think it was the Grumman Corp in NY.. Andy would be in his 60's now and his grandmother prob passed away all ready.. I am also doing the 23andme DNA test but will take 2 months to get the results back. I am hoping someone from that side of the family has there DNA out there..

Hello, I have been researching my family and have a great uncle Jake (Jacob??) Nova(c)k from Wisconsin and Michigan. Seen Novack spelled with and without the "c". Also, I have relatives- a Leo and Mary Majewski - that attended my grandmother's funeral as relatives but I have been unable to make a connection as to how they are related to us. My email is hummingbird116@yahoo.com and I would love to speak with you about any info you have on either of these family names. Looking forward to "talking" with you. Joann

Thank you for your response. I have come up against a brick wall with these two names in my family research. As far as the Nova(c)k name, my grandfather was John Novak, married to Frances Stolzman. I have seen the name spelled with and without a c. John Novak had a brother, Jake Novak, that lived in Port Austin, MI at the time of my grandmother's death in 1949. John and Jake's parents, Martin Novak and Victoria Matelska, came from Poland, according to John's delayed birth registration. So I have no idea if Jake is Jacob/Jakub, if he was married, when and where he died, and so forth. Where did your Jacob Novack live?? Did he ever live in Wisconsin, as I understand at one time this family were farmers in Wisconsin near Mosinee. As far as the Majewsky(i)side, all I have is a reference to a Leo and Mary Majewski in my grandmother's funeral record book as they attended her funeral. It was listed under the "relatives attending" side, so I have to assume they were related but how I don't have a clue. Does your husband know anything more about the Majewsky side?? Any info is appreciated as, like I said, I have hit a brick wall with both of these names. Thanks for any help. Sincerely, Joann

Hi again! Sorry, I guess I didn't make myself clear about my grandmother's funeral. She died in 1949 (before I was born):o( So it is possible that the Leo from your husband's family may be the same Leo I am looking for. Was your Leo married?? My Leo was married to Mary. As far as the Novack's go, I think you are right. It is not a match but was worth a try; better than hitting that brick wall (ha-ha) I think the Nova(c)k name is like Smith in English. Please let me know about Leo. It would be nice to solve that mystery. Thanks. Joann
