Charles,

My Grandfather, Michael William Noud came from County Kildare, Ireland, in the early 1880's. Preceding him to America were three(3) of his Uncles. One(1) went to Kansas, one(1) went to Michigan, and one(1) went to Oregon. My Grandfather(Michael) lived in Bethlehem, Pa. for awhile, married and with three(3) kids migrated to Kansas with the Homestead Act. We were all raised in Kansas.
