A Norseworthy, no first name given, is pictured in the College Quartet in the 1923 Summit, yearbook of Decatur Baptist College of Decatur, Texas. I'm not kin but thought this might help someone researching the family.

My daddy was William Andrew Norseworthy and mother was Rita Lee Solenberg Norseworthy I don't know a lot of the family history but will tell you what i know. Betty jane Stewart, johnny Lee Norseworthy, William alfred Norseworthy and Billy Ray all live in the Tahlequah OK. area.

i know you don't know me, but william andrew was my grandfather, apparently after having a half dozen kids or so with his wife, somewhere in all of that he remarried... he got married to rita solenberg which was my grandmother, they had six children together, one of which is my mother, all of the children live in tahlequah oklahoma, and still keep in touch once in a while with some of the kids from his first marriage... if you would like any info, let me know, my mom can tell you a lot of it but unfortunately the one child that could tell you everything, has passed away.

my name is kevin norseworthy and i just found out through my grandfather that james monroe norseworthy is my great great grandfather i am from dallas my granpa is roy harold from graham that is where most of his family was at as far as i know am looking for more info on my family he is also looking for me if any one else wants to know

Sorry, for the two month delay. Computer went down and had to get replaced. Back in business now. I was very excited to find one of Twilia's cousins. Hylon is our sister in law married to Twilia's son Dennis. Would love any information you would like to share. Twilia never liked to share info on her childhood or parents much. Please write to me. So I can communicate more freely. My husband Bob (Twilia's first son) wants me to find any info I can on his family tree.

Yes, we are second cousins. Twilia was my first cousin. My mother and Charlcia were sisters.
I write to Hylon off and on. Bobby is her brother, right? You did not give your email addy. I will give you any info I have that may interest you. I am trying to get past James Monroe Norseworthy.
Time has not allowed a lot of research yet. Thanks for contact.

I can not help you with info further back than james Monroe Norseworthy. But i can tell you that his son William Andrew Norseworthy born 11/12/1886, died 1/14/1954 married Martha Emily Robinson born 11/13/1887 died 12/6/1926 and they had a daughter Charlcia who married Richard Wayne William and they had a daughter Twilia Jearlene who married Ernest Melvin Mcada, who had a son Bobby Wade Mcada who is my husband. I have dates of these people and would love more info if you have it and would like to share. Please e-mail if you would like to research together.

BIRTH: unknown Death: unknown Lived in Johnson Co.Texas I think. Married: Betty Jane Rigsby (Riggsby?) had several children
my grandfather William Andrew Norseworthy
known as "Bill". William A. died in 1953 in Lawton,OK. Children of James Monroe Norseworthy were: William Andrew, Johnnie,
Lee, Alta, Dolly, Meadie and perhaps others.
Do you connect to this line?? Have no idea
where James Monroe originated from, nor his
father. Betty Jane Rigsby, his wife, was of
Cherokee ancestory, cannot trace that either. Any help appreciated !! Gendrr@webtv.net
