Cecil Ray Noah is (was) my grand father. John is (was)
his father. I have a little information but not much.
Just started doing research on the Noah side.
Do you know of a John and Elizebeth burried in the
State cemetery in Austin. I was wondering if they are kin?

I do not believe the John Elizabeth
buried in the State cemetary are related.
I have just begun my Noah search also. I
still have very little information, nothing
is verified.

Your Grandfather Cecil was my uncle, my Dad
was John T. Noah, I probably have most of
the information on this family, but would
like to compare notes. My E-Mail address is
lazyje@gvtc.com
I was at Aunt Helen's
funeral.

Contact Brenda Walz at

She has huge Noah data base also publishes a quarterly called NOAH TIMES filled with good info. Check Ancestry.com for Peter Noah who settles in the Carolinas mid 1700. This family moved into Tenn. From what has been gathered only the family of Johan Mathias Noah came to America with the name Noah. The original other three were either Noa or Noe and eventually chaned to Noah. I

There was no Issac Noah in the research I have done as far back as 1710. They came
here from Germany and were white as far as
I know. I am trying to find any information
on Susan Brittain who married Abram (noe) Noah in Tenn. 08/15/1850. I am told she was a Cherokee.

I came across a Sherman L. Noah in Houston,
Tx., employed at M.T. Jones Co. in
1882-1883. This may or may not be a help
to you.
