I am looking to correspond with descendant of Julius Carl Noack (1842-1924) and Anna Kaddatz (1854-1932). I have recently inherited MANY family photographs of them and their children, grandchildren, etc. As well as identified but as of yet unconnected relatives from Germany. I would love to share what information I have. Additionally, I would love to be able to discover the family connections between the Julius and Anna Noacks and the other Noacks in the pictures.

You can post messages here - or preferably - contact me directly at ccowan@dentrix.com

Thanks!

I have learned that someone did a lot of research on my husband's grandfather's family, T.J.Noack, for a book, but then didn't want the material after all and gave it to some Noack family member. Is it possible that you are now the holder of this material? I don't know much of anything about T.J. except that he was born in Missouri about 1882 and his parents were from Germany. He lived in Phoenix, Arizona, as an adult.

There are no Noack relatives in my known family tree with the initials TJ. And, I have not received any prepared family history. Mostly I just have pictures from Germany with names but no connection as of yet to the Noacks that I have family names for.

It is very possible that our Noacks are related but as of now, I have very limited information. What are the immigration dates and ports for your Noacks?

I wish I knew. All I have is T. J. (Theodore John) Noack born 1882 in Missouri, both parents born in Germany. Not much to go on.

T. J. Noack married Julia Langerbee Lyall in Phoenix, Arizona, about 1901 or 1902. I have found BLM records showing a Frederick P. Noack who owned property in Maricopa County acquired in the 1890's. This very probably could be T. J.'s father because the Noacks did have some property. I have nothing to tell me that for sure though. The alleged family history research was done by someone in the Phoenix area I believe.

I'll look through the pictures I have from Germany and see if there is a Frederick Noack born around 1850/1860. I'll let you know.

Thanks, that would be just too wonderful, but I have had a good deal of success with these FamilyHistory message boards.

My husbands family came from Saxony Germany in
1854 to Serbin, Tx. The first settler was Michael
Noack m to Hanna Lehmann, who died abroad ship
married Maria Handrick who is our ancestor. Do

Ina, Hanna did not die aboard ship. She died 16 Feb 1860 of "coughing if blood after childbirth."
