I'm trying to find anyone who might be able to help me with this family. My great grandfather was, Valentin Sardinas Noa b. Apr 17,1882. He married Margaret Maloney from Pensacola, Fl. I found out that Valentin was born in Cuba. My granfather, who is still alive, says that his father ( Valentin) was born in Key West, Fl.
My grandfather , ( Hugh Maloney Noa), says that his father went to Cuba from Key West, to work in a cigar factory. Then from Cuba, he went to Pensacola, Fl.
Valentin Noa and wife, Margaret ,had 8 children. There are only two of those children still alive.
So, there are a lot of Valentin S. Noa descendants in the Pensacola area.
Thanks, Sheri D. Tipton...sdtipton01@aol.com

You are talking about my Great-Grand Father. My GrandFather is Vincent Val Noa. My Great-Grand Father came here to Pensacola, FL on a boat from Cuba. My grand-father had 5 children, and I know only him and his brother that are still alive. Let me know if this helps?

Hello cousin ,

I'm looking for my great grandfather Valentin Sardinas Noa Sr. b.17 Apr 1882 in Havana Cuba d. 20 Feb 1968 parent's.. (Benito Noa m. Juanita Frances Sardinas) this is the info . that is on record . I have a copy of this from Aunt Jane Noa that she gave me several years ago. The info. about paw paw Valentin Noa Sr. and Margaret E. Moloney "Queenie" they had 8 kids NOT 5.. you are missing some info. I have the list of all the kids if you need them. Uncle Vincent's wife Aunt Jane has done a great job with the Noa line. I also have the wedding photo of Val S. Noa Sr and Margaret " Queenie".. My grandfather Hugh M. Noa Sr. is the only child that called his mother "Queenie" and that's how I knew her..

Thanks,

P.S. It's paw paw Val S. Noa's parents that are hard to find records on because the family story is that Benito Noa died during the Spanish War and his mother Juanita F. Sardinas died during childbirth. Val S. Noa Sr was a stow away on a ship from Cuba to Key West, Fl. He kept to that story so that he would not be sent back to Cuba. On half of his kids birth certificates he says b. place is Cuba and some he says Key West , Fl. He also spoke 7 languages and was a tailor.. I have a little more info.. just not on his parents..
