MY GREAT GRANDFATHER MARRIED A MARY TAYLOR ON 2 NOV 1834 ON WORCHESTER, ENGLAND. THEY HAD SEVERAL CHILDREN, ONE OF WHICH WAS MY GRANDFARTHER EDWARD WHO WAS BORN IN KIDDEMINISTER 15 FEBRUARY 1864. I WOULD LIKE HELP IN TRACKING THIS BRANCH OF THE FAMILY

I am working on the family tree of my sister-in-law, Mary Anne Connell Huber. One of her great-grandparents was Ellen Valentine Nisbett, the youngest of the many children of John Bosworth Nisbett and Mary Taylor. According to a record I found in the IGI, John married Mary on Sept. 6 1846 in Birmingham, Warwick and he had previously married Elizabeth Taylor in 1834. My sister-in-law knew her very long-lived great grandmother, and she said that Elizabeth was a widow, and Mary was her child by her first husband. John B. Nisbett then married his stepdaughter after Elizabeth died "for the sake of propriety" (?!?). I've totaled up thirteen children of John and Mary so far, including your grandfather Edward.

I would be *extremely* delighted to compare notes with you at your convenience!

I want to thank Mr. Huber for his response. I would like to know if any of the 13 children that he has located were either a Nellie or a Joseph since I remember them as a brother and sister of my Grandfather Edward Nisbett.
