I am descended from Richard Nisbet b.1815, who I believe was a brother of your William Nisbet b.C.1810.

In the 1841 census, they are living close to each other at Plean Muir, St. Ninian's.

When my ancestor Richard died, in 1855, the informant on his death certificate is William Nisbet, "brother of the deceased", who states that their parents were: James Nisbet, a Miner, and Elizabeth Nisbet (maiden
surname Thomson).

In the 1851 census, William was living at West Plean. He states he is 40 years old, and was born in Falkirk. This leads back to a baptism at Falkirk on Jan 20, 1811, of William s/o James Nisbet & Elizabeth (m.s. Thomson).
