I realize this is a tad late - almost 2 years - but if you're still there and looking for that tree, check this out:

Click on the "browse the database" button, select "Niquet" from the surnames listing, and look for "Joseph". There are many Niquette's by that name, but you'll eventually find Joseph Niquet from Winooski (m. Odille Ayotte). I've traced his lineage back to the immgrant around 1660 or so.
