Hi I saw your message and I also have Niesens from Cincinnati. In fact myself are a Niesen I am descended from Christian George Niesen Born 1912 in Cincinnati, Oh His father was William Niesen Born in Cincinnati in poss. 1883? William's father was Nicolas Niesen could be Prussia, Germany or Denmark? Not sure which. I was told by my fathers cousin DR.Edmond Niesen from Cincinnati who's father was Franz from Germany told me that several brothers came over together. Sorry to say Dr. Edmond Niesen past away I think in 2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio thier may have been a George in his line. I know thier were alot of plummers in that line. I have a little information and I will look up what I have and e-mail. My line disends from Nicolas Niesen. I have not been able to find his father yet I found two in Germany with possible dates around his time of birth 1860-1865 Would you have any info on His line sure would appreciate it.
