Would anyone on the board be interested in starting a Niesen DNA Project? It might be interesting to see whether science would show that the various Niesen lines are connected. I have been researching the lines in Kenosha, Wisconsin and McHenry, Illinois and do believe they are the same family, but many different Niesen immigrants came from Germany over the 19th century and into the 20th.
