Trying to connect with others that might have or know of African American NICHOLAS families from Louisa Co, VA (Cuckoo area)? I'm tracing the line of a Henry and Martha NICOLAS. Henry was born about 1837 in VA. They had children named Temple, Lizzie, Bell, Berta, Becky, John Henry, and Georgianna. I think Henry might have had a brother named Watts NICHOLAS as well as he was right next to them on a Census record. Thanks!
