Hi Mike,

There was also one that I forgot to add - that of Bertha Elizabeth NIBLETT, the eldest daughter of Henry and Bertha NIBLETT - see her in the 1891 Census at RG12/ 4340 - 31 - 5 - 37.

It appears that she married William WINTLE in the December quarter of 1897, registered at Bridgend, Glamorgan 11a - 1223. Of course one would need a marriage certificate to verify this - especially as I can't find her in the 1901 Census under either her married or maiden surname. I doubt that she married Stephen Jeremiah FIELDING, also listed in this entry, because I found him with his wife Gwen (Rees) in the 1901 Census.

There is a possibility that William WINTLE died, but I can't find a death registration for him in the period between, 1897 and 1901. There is another marriage entry for a Bertha WINTLE to either Frederick PEARCE or to a Joseph THOMAS in the September quarter of 1899 at Monmouth 11a - 72, but then I can't find a suitable Bertha PEARCE or a Bertha THOMAS in the 1901 Census - perhaps you might do better than me in this?

Cheers,

Don.
